Why I started this company
I learned insulation on crews when I was young, then spent years doing other work before I came back in 2020 and started this business in San Clemente. Coming back with fresh eyes, I kept seeing the same thing. Insulation got piled into attics while the problems that mattered stayed put, like open gaps around can lights and the hatch, or eave vents buried so the attic couldn't breathe.
So we do it in order. Most of our calls come from people with a hot upstairs or a drafty room over the garage, an older house, or a remodel coming up, plus a few property managers. I come out myself to look at the job and write the estimate, and our own crew does the work. What I care about most is that you understand your house well enough to make the call yourself. You can see everything we do on our home page.

What you can count on when we work on your house
You see what's up there before you decide
I go into your attic or crawl space and show you what I find, like how many inches are already down and whether the old material is soaked or full of droppings. Then I explain what it means for your house, so the choice is yours.
Your estimate is written in order
Each estimate lays out the job step by step, with the safety checks and air sealing, closing the gaps before we insulate, up front because insulation over an open gap just fights a draft. I'm also the one you call with questions later, so you're never explaining your house twice.
We tell you if something needs fixing first
If a problem has to be fixed before we insulate, we say so plainly and help you plan for it, even when that means less work for us. Fresh insulation over a problem only hides it, and you'd be paying for the job twice.
Licenses and permits for insulation work
Serving San Clemente and 11 surrounding cities
California contractor license
Licensed and insured. The state licensing board requires a license for anyone working on a house when the job needs a building permit, uses any extra workers, or costs $1,000 or more in labor and materials, so it's fair to ask anyone headed into your attic whether they hold one.
Permits and inspections
When a job calls for a permit, we pull it as the licensed contractor and handle the inspections. In San Clemente, permits come from the city's Building and Safety Division, and if we're not sure your job needs one, we check with the city before we start.
Cities we work in
San Clemente Insulation and Spray Foam is based in San Clemente, California, and our crew works in the cities around it. The 12 cities below have their own pages, from Dana Point to Rancho Santa Margarita, and they're just some of the places we go.
